The African fabric industry is of great importance in terms of women's economic activity, as women play a leading role in this sector. And the patterns will be considered as a kind of non-verbal communication between African women to convey their messages to each other. Therefore, I also liked to put a meaning in the pattern, and had a theme about feminism of Korea in mind. So, I especially want to talk about the Korean Tal Corset (脫+Corset) movement that continues to this day. The ‘Tal Corset’ movement has raised awareness of the various burdens women face in Korea and has become a movement in which women can overcome these burdens. When I imagine the meaning of "脫皮(Tal-Pi)" to a "Tal Corset Movement", in order to go a better direction, one must shed the old skin and take new steps. That's why I thought of the transformation of a pupated caterpillar that hatches and becomes a butterfly.
